Varvara

Varvara is mostly famous with the beautiful sea. Although the sandy beach is only one and it is quite small, it is one of the most beautiful beach in Bulgaria. Because of its remoteness, the village has managed to preserve its pure nature and crystal waters. The village is surrounded by rocky coves great for underwater fishing and diving.

Near the village on Mount Papia exists traces of late ancient and medieval fortress.

Near  Varvara is located the Iron Tree, made especially for the filming of the movie "Golqmo Noshtno Kupane." That is the place where the hippies  meet July Morning since years. (from wikipedia).
